Audi Q3 Sportback is a compact coupé - crossover from the German carmaker Audi AG, forming part of the Volkswagen group. Available from 2019, it can be either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Differences from the regular Q3.
The first Audi Q3 Sportback, based on the Audi Q3 crossover, has the same wheelbase but is slightly lower and longer. It looks more like a hatchback. This Sportback differs from the ‘regular’ Audi Q3 with a low sloping roof, an increased angle of the rear window, and roof racks. Plasticity of sidewalls remained intact, and the front of the Sportback can be identified by the new radiator lattice with large combs instead of rectangular cells.
Sports suspension and progressive steering (transmission ratio decreases as the steering wheel turns), which are available in the standard Audi Q3 for extra money, are already available in the new Audi Q3 Sportback in the basic trim level. Optionally, adaptive dampers with adjustable rigidity can be installed. The settings are set in the individual mode of the drive select system or automatically by one of the factory programs: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, or Offroad.
Sports suspension and progressive steering in the new Audi Q3 Sportback are offered as standard.
The interior of the Audi Q3 Sportback 2020 is unified for the whole Q3 family. The climate control unit with physical buttons and knobs is located on the center console, deployed to the driver. The top-end multimedia device MMI navigation plus is not inferior in capabilities to the complexes in the higher Audi models. There is a voice control system receiving commands in a free form. Mapping and online services are provided by the company ‘HERE’. The Audi Q3 Sportback 2020 may easily compete with the front-wheel drive BMW X2 or Mercedes-Benz GLA.
