BMW X1 crossover. 2nd generation, 2019 restyling
BMW X1 is a compact five-seat crossover from the German ‘BMW’ company that has been in production since 2009. Nowadays the Israel market offers 2019-restyled versions of the second generation BMW X1 SUV models.
Modifications
The Israel market offers 5-seat BMW X1 vehicles with front-wheel drive and a gasoline turbine motor of two variants. The first one – sDrive 18i – has a volume of 1,5 liters and a power capacity of 140 hp. With this motor, the crossover can reach speeds of up to 201 km/h. The average fuel consumption is 5,7 liters per 100 km. The volume of the second variant – sDrive 20i motor – is 2 liters, with a power capacity of 192 hp. This motor allows the crossover to reach the maximum speed of 224 km/h, but fuel consumption is now also 6,1 liters per 100 km. Both motors are supplemented by a 7-speed SMG system.
Trim versions
For the BMW X1 2019/2020 buyers in Israel ‘Business’, ‘Exclusive’ and ‘xLine’ trim versions are available. Each car version has a moonroof as well as a panoramic one. All three of them have six airbags, a traffic condition selection option, miscellaneous digital assistants including a collision avoidance system, driver fatigue sensors, and lane control system. A defrosting option for the side mirrors, active power steering system, 2-zone climate control (except for the ‘Business’ trim version - it has air conditioning instead), a start-stop system to reduce fuel consumption – there are only a few of the options available for all the trim versions of the new X1 model.
‘Exclusive’ trim version of BMW X1 also boasts such premium options as an automatic parking system with front and rear parking sensors, a hands-free trunk opening option as well as front seats with a heating option.
