Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover produced by the American company General Motors under the Chevrolet brand since 2008. Produced in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. First generation
The first generation of the Chevrolet Traverse was produced from 2008 to 2017, undergoing restyling in 2012. The first Traverse was the successor to the Uplander minivan and the TrailBlazer SUV. Built on the Lambda platform with a transverse powertrain and monocoque body, the first Chevrolet Traverse was identical to the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. Large roomy SUV weighed 2.5 tons, but accelerated to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds. Despite all its might, outwardly it looked quite sophisticated and resembled a classic Malibu sedan.

The large 7 or 8-seater took its design from the 2005 Chevrolet Sequel concept car, but its radiator grill was taken from the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu. The body of the first Traverse was sheathed in a unique sheet metal, unlike other crossovers on the Lambda platform. Starting with the restyling of 2012, the crossover could be both front and all-wheel drive.
Second generation
The second generation of Chevrolet Traverse has been in production from 2017 to the present. The second Traverse moved to the new C1XX platform with independent bracket in a circle.
