Foxtron Model C. Electric car from Taiwan
The Foxtron Model C is a 4.6 meter long 7-seater SUV with an electric motor, produced by the Taiwanese brand Foxtron since the fall of 2022. The Model C was unveiled in 2021 as a concept car, and during the Hon Hai Tech Day 2022 event, it has already appeared as a production model. The electric vehicle from Taiwan will be initially sold in its home country and will be called Luxgen n7. The start of sales is expected in early 2023. Interest in the Foxtron Model C is high: 15,000 purchase requests were made in the first two days.
Foxtron is an automobile brand created through the efforts of two Taiwanese companies. One is Taiwan's most famous company, Foxconn, an electronics manufacturer and supplier to Apple. The second is car manufacturer Yulon Motor, which already has its own Luxgen brand.
Exterior
The model was designed by Foxtron’s own specialists, although the Taiwanese have established cooperation with Pininfarina. As a result, the appearance of the Foxtron Model C turned out to be simple and unpretentious. Contrary to its concept, the production SUV has a less aggressive front bumper, more conventional proportions, familiar door handles and different lighting technology. The drag coefficient is 0.28.
Interior
The production vehicle received a completely different interior. A dashboard and the ventilation deflectors are hidden in a kind of casing, and all the attention is focused on a huge angled touch screen of the multimedia system. The small steering wheel has the usual nice round shape and the seats have a pronounced lateral support.
Powertrains
The new Foxtron Model C 2023 is equipped with two electric motors with 460 hp. The driving range promises to reach 700 km. The manufacturer also announced the acceleration time to 100 km/h: 3.8 seconds. For now, this is all the information known to date.
