Tiago is a form of the Hebrew name יַעֲקֹב (Jacob), which means ‘treading on the heels’ or ‘following someone’. This is a popular name in Latin America, but one can only guess how it got to India. The electric hatchback comes with one electric motor on the front axle with a capacity of 62 or 74 hp and a battery with a capacity of 19.2 or 24 kWh. The driving range is 255 or 315 km (according to the Indian MIDC cycle, close to NEDC). The manufacturer provides a warranty for an electric powertrain for a period of 8 years or 160,000 km.
