Geely and Geometry. What can Israeli buyers expect in 2023?
According to the results of 2022, Geely together with its sub-brand Geometry has become Israel’s best-selling electric vehicle brand: the Geely Geometry C was bought by 6,816 Israelis. Moreover, the electric crossover hatchback has become one of the top 10 most popular cars on our market. We love this model for the design, aerodynamic body, dynamics and capacity despite its compact looks. In addition, the Geometry C is offered at a very competitive price: last year, the price of the Pure version with a 53 kWh battery started at 140,437 shekels. Therefore, it is quite natural that the Chinese automaker is planning a significant expansion in our market. What can Israeli buyers expect in 2023?
In 2023, the new Geely Geometry C is offered with a single electric motor on the front axle with a capacity of 204 hp. Two batteries of different capacities, 53 or 70 kWh, are capable of providing a range of 350 or 460 km. The price is 152,000-165,000 shekels.
Geely Israel promises to launch a new service and sales center in Rishon Lezion in the second half of 2023. The construction of the service center is being carried out at an accelerated pace. The new complex will join the existing ones, and there are currently 7 centers in Israel: in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Modiin, Netanya, Beersheba, Afula and Jerusalem.
In addition, Geely Israel is now offering its customers a charging solution package that includes a fast charging cable, a home charging station, an EV-Edge public charging card and a built-in Waze package for 36 months.
In 2023, Geely Israel will offer thw new Geely Geometry C buyers individual financing options for 60 months. The scheme involves making an advance payment and breaking subsequent payments into 60 installments. The monthly repayment amount is based on the base interest rate minus 0.5% (an effective annual interest rate of 4.85%). Unfortunately, the price reduction is not planned yet…
In 2023, the manufacturer promises to release a new electric crossover hatchback, the Geely Geometry M6, an updated version of the Geometry C.
