The first Jazz was built on a completely new platform. Engineers from the Japanese company Honda decided to create a car that will combine the features of a minivan, hatchback and minivan. The second-generation Honda Jazz was produced from 2008 to 2015, going through a facelift in 2011. The second Jazz, assembled on a new platform, received a new appearance and more advanced engines. The first generation was so successful that the developers of the car were simply afraid to make any revolutionary changes, so the second Jazz became a logical continuation of the first. It became slightly more spacious, received a more expressive front part of the body, a new radiator grille and thin side pillars that did not limit the view for the driver. As a result, the car became even safer and more comfortable to drive. The huge glazing area of the Honda Jazz is an undoubted advantage of the second generation.
The third generation
The third generation Honda Jazz is produced from 2015 to the present, having received a restyling in 2017. The third Jazz received a fully transformable interior. It was a real breakthrough for its time! The appearance of the third-generation Honda Jazz has undergone significant changes-there are other headlights, a more streamlined bumper, new taillights. Excellent visibility was preserved, aerodynamics and handling became better, and the long base for the wheels allowed the designers to create more free space for passengers inside the cabin.
