The 2018/2019 Hyundai IONIQ 5-Door 5-Seater Front-Wheel-Drive Hatchback has the following dimensions: 4,470 mm long, 1,820 mm wide, and wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The trunk volume reaches 455 liters.

Distinctive features

The polished design of the new Hyundai IONIQ combines flowing lines and multi-layered patterns. The hatchback has a drag coefficient of just 0.24, reflecting the IONIQ’s delicate design and travelling comfort fused together. The 2019/2020 Hyundai IONIQ demonstrates superior aerodynamics, setting new standards in the world of electric vehicles. The interior of the new hybrid hatchback uses recycled plastic interior panels combined with lumber, wood species and sugarcane raw materials.

Modifications

Two versions of the new IONIQ are available in Israel: with a hybrid system and with an electric motor. A 1.6 liter petrol engine producing 105 hp, complemented by a 6-speed automated transmission and a 1.56 kWh battery, enables the hybrid hatchback to reach a speed of 185 km/h. Fuel consumption is 3.6 liters per 100 km. The electric version is equipped with an electric motor and a 28 kW/h lithium-ion battery, generating 120 hp. The electric car travels at a speed of 165 km/h.

Trim versions

The 2019/2020 Hyundai IONIQ Hatchback offers the Premium trim version to its Israeli buyers. The version is equipped with a panoramic roof, tinted glass, LED headlights and R16 wheels. The basic options of the new hatchback include at least 6 airbags, central locking, rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, ABS, lane control, brake assist, collision avoidance system and stabilization system.

The 2020 Hyundai IONIQ is equipped with navigation, voice-activated multimedia system, Bluetooth and USB, wireless smartphone charging, audio system, power glass windows, air conditioning, power steering and heated steering wheel and front seats, engine push-button start and adaptive lighting system.
