2018 Kia Ceed Station Wagon. 3 generation
Kia Ceed is a compact front-wheel drive C-class car produced by the South Korean automobile maker, Kia Motors, since 2006. In 2020, the 5-door Estate and 5-door Hatchback modifications of the 2018 third generation Kia Ceed were available on the Israeli market.
The 2018/2019 Kia Ceed 5-Door 5-Seater Station Wagon is compact in size: 4,600 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. The volume of the trunk is very impressive, varying from 625 (minimum) to 1,694 liters (maximum).
Distinctive features
The geometry of the suspension of the new Kia Ceed is completely different now, and the steering demonstrates greater sharpness, plus there are a lot of new electronic helpers and assistants, which allows the new vehicle to enjoy the second-level autonomy. The 2018 ‘third’ Ceed retained the body length and wheelbase dimensions identical to the preceding 2nd generation Kia Ceed, but at the same time the body of the new car became 20 mm wider and 23 mm lower. Manufacturers assure that the 2018/2019 Kia Ceed will become one of the most innovative vehicles of its class.
Modifications
Two engine options of the new Kia Ceed station wagon are available in Israel: a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 140 hp, which is complemented by a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission, and a 1.6-liter diesel engine producing 136 hp, complemented by a 6-speed manual transmission. The average fuel consumption is 5.6 and 4.2 liters per 100 km, respectively. But the maximum possible speed developed by both engines is approximately the same: 205 and 200 km/h, respectively.
Trim versions
Two trim versions of the 2020 Kia Ceed station wagon are available in Israel. Both of them have at least 6 airbags, including window ones, immobilizer, central locking, rear camera, rear parking sensors, cruise control, ABS and ASR, lane control and driver fatigue sensor, hill start assist, automatic brake assist, anti-collision system, stabilization system and steering stabilizer system.
The new Kia Ceed 2020 is equipped with a multimedia system suitable for Bluetooth and USB, an audio system, tinted windows, electric windows, electric power steering, air conditioning or 2-zone climate control, a multifunctional steering wheel, space-saving tyre, diode headlights, automatic headlight range control and R16 alloy wheels.
