2018 Kia Optima Sedan. 4 generation, restyling
Kia Optima is a Korean D-class front wheel drive car produced by Kia Motors since 2000. The sedan and 5-door station wagon versions are available. In 2020, the Israeli market offered the fourth generation Sedan Kia Optima, which underwent restyling in 2018.
The 2018/2019 Kia Optima 4-Door 5-Seater Sedan is 4,855 mm long, 1,860 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2,805 mm. Its trunk volume reaches 425 liters.
Modifications
In Israel, the new Kia Optima sedan is sold with a hybrid system that runs on both petrol and electricity. A 2.0-liter petrol engine developing 154 hp is complemented by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The sedan can travel at a maximum speed of 192 km/h.
Trim versions
Two trim versions of the 2019/2020 Kia Optima are available for the Israeli buyers: EX and Premium. The latter boasts a sunroof, panoramic roof, interior lighting, leather interior and an expanded list of options.
Both trims provide at least 7 airbags, including those for windows and driver’s knees, immobilizer, central locking, rear camera, rear and front parking sensors, driving mode selection system, ABS and ASR, hill start assist, automatic brake assist, anti-collision system, stabilization system and steering stabilizer system.
The 2020 Kia Optima is equipped with a multimedia system suitable for Bluetooth and USB, an audio system, power windows, electrically folding mirrors, sun blinds in the rear doors, heated side mirrors (heated and ventilated seats for the premium trim), 2-zone climate control, multifunction steering wheel, keyless access, LED headlights, automatic headlight range control and adaptive lighting system.
