Some show cars can be impressively innovative, making you see the world differently. Just look at the mind-blowing Nissan concept car! The Max-Out was unveiled in Yokohama (Japan) at the Nissan Futures event, which is held until March 2023. If you happen to be anywhere near Nissan’s global headquarters in Japan in the next 30 days, you can stop by to see it. The compact electric roadster is billed as a vehicle capable of delivering driver pleasure. It is technologically advanced, featuring transformable seats and illuminated wheels. The futuristic electric car resembles the machines from a fantastic movie, such as Tron: Legacy. So far, Nissan’s crazy concept car is just a layout without technical details. However, Nissan’s vision for the future is an important step, with 15 new electric models expected by 2030, as well as 8 hybrid models.

Nissan GT-R 2023.

Perhaps, the Max-Out shows future solutions for the upcoming Nissan GT-R, which will be released in a hybrid and electric versions. Such an idea suggests itself from the statement of the head of Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO), Takao Katagiri. According to him, the automaker is developing a new sports car for North America and Europe.

Interesting fact

Nissan doesn’t provide any information about the Max-Out’s powertrain or performance, which is why we’re treating it as just a layout. There is no mention of any component of this car going into production. There is not even a hint of the “design language of the future” that we hear so often from automakers. However, it’s nice to see a concept car that depicts a future where roofless 2-seater sports cars still exist. Still, if enough people are positive about the concept car’s looks, we’ll likely see design elements in future Nissan models, perhaps even an all-electric sports car.

Exterior

The first photos of the Max-Out concept car appeared at the end of 2021. The 2023 show car unveiled to the world is similar in design to the 2021 renders: wedge-shaped forms, clean surfaces, a huge front fairing that integrates the front fascia with the windshield. The 2-seater roadster has a low seating position that hints at its sporty character, with exterior LED lighting in a combination of neon green and blue, as well as illuminated wheels in the form of a round 3D pattern: if you look at them for too long, they can hypnotize… All of this makes the Max-Out even more like the fantastic machines from the Tron movie. Nissan engineers wanted to put active cornering and responsive steering into the model, while also focusing on a sense of unity between the driver and passenger with the car.

Interior

The interior finishing comprises the futuristic lighting, and the car’s low-mounted seats can be transformed, providing more interior space and comfort for the driver and passenger. The Max-Out features numerous screens, including one in the steering wheel hub. The steering wheel itself is made in the form of a collar. The main wide digital screen is capable of multitasking. Judging by the graphics on its left side, it will even allow you to monitor the state of space wormholes.
