Mercedes C-class AMG is a powerful sports series of compact executive cars from the German Mercedes-Benz concern, which has been produced since 1994. It is based on the C-Class Mercedes. At different times, it was presented in sedan, estate, and 3-door hatchback bodies. A coupe body version was added to this list starting with the third generation. A convertible body version appeared in the fourth generation. Today, four generations of this powerful sports car already have entered the market, the last of which available in Israel after 2018 restyling (data for 2020).
The 2018/2019 4-door 5-seat sedan is a 4,757 mm long and 1,839 mm wide compact car with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm and a trunk volume of 435 liters.
Distinctive features
The 2020 Mercedes AMG C 43 4MATIC has a branded double-bar radiator grille with matte iridium silver paintwork and AMG lettering, a front apron with expressive sporty air intakes with two bars in silver chrome on the sides, and black fins. The rear apron has a decorative diffuser with two round twin tailpipes in high-gloss chrome.
2020 Mercedes AMG C 63 S 4MATIC has a bonnet with lugs and a characteristic radiator grille in high-gloss chrome with AMG lettering. The exterior of the car is adorned with an emphatically progressive front apron with A-Wing in high-gloss black, a decorative trim in A-Wing in matt iridium silver, as well as AMG-specific side air intakes for directing additional cool air currents with sipes and black swirls. A rear apron with a new diffuser design in high-gloss black is completes the image of the car. It has four diffuser fins with an additional diffuser shelf and a decorative strip in silver chrome, plus a spoiler lip in body color.
Modifications
The New Mercedes AMG C-Class sedan comes with both back-wheel and all-wheel drive. It can be equipped with gasoline engines of different power. All engines are V-shaped, turbocharged. They are complemented by a 9-speed automated transmission. The 2020 °C 43 4MATIC has a 390-hp 3-liter V6 engine with a top speed of 250 km/h, capable of speeding up to 100 km/h from a standstill in 4.7 seconds. The most powerful V8 510-hp 4-liter engine is installed on the 2020 °C 63 S 4MATIC model, which can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
Trim versions
The trim versions available for buyers of the 2020 Mercedes C-Class AMG are rich in equipment. Interior lighting, door sills, and pedals, sports seats, folding rear seats, black fabric headlining, retuned sports suspension, body kit, and LED headlights are included in the basic options.
