Skoda Superb Liftback. 3rd generation, 2019 restyling
Skoda Superb is a D-class passenger car produced by the Czech automobile maker, Skoda, since 2001. This is an executive car that can easily fit into the business class. By 2020, the third generation of the Skoda Superb has been released, and its restyled liftback version of 2019 can be purchased in Israel.
The 2019/2020 Skoda Superb Liftback is a 5-door 5-seater car, delivered to Israel as both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The liftback is 4,869 mm long, 1,864 mm wide, and has a wheelbase of 2,841 mm. It has a spacious interior and a decent trunk volume of 584 liters.
New design
The clean geometric lines, striking surface contours and sculptural forms of the new 2019/2020 Skoda Superb Liftback are eye-catching. Its style is full of expression and hidden power. It is impossible not to notice the upgraded wide grille, new full LED matrix headlights, a new bumper with LED fog lights, the alignment of all lines and the original shape of the new Skoda Superb. The brand emblem has been replaced by the proud ŠKODA name in capital letters at the back. The redesigned 2019/2020 Superb has many additional options and the advanced equipment.
Modifications
Israeli buyers can purchase several modifications of the new Superb: with petrol and diesel engines. They can choose between a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 150 hp and a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 190 hp. For the all-wheel drive model, a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 272 hp is offered. There is only one 2-liter diesel engine with 190 hp. All engines are complemented by a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission.
Trim versions
The choice of the 2020 Skoda Superb trim versions is very wide! The front-wheel-drive Superb with a petrol engine has 5 versions: Business, Style, Ambition, SportLine and the top-end Laurin & Klement version, which is the very trim of the Skoda Superb used by the Czech president. The all-wheel drive liftback has two versions: SportLine and Laurin & Klement. And the diesel model Skoda Superb has 3 trim versions: Ambition, Style and Laurin & Klement.
At the same time, all the trim versions of the 2020 Skoda Superb include an almost complete set of airbags, adaptive cruise control, a rear camera (except for the Business trim), an almost complete set of electronic assistants, multimedia system smartphone control, electric seat adjustment with for the driver’s memory seat, heated side mirrors, electric power steering, rear parking sensors, climate control, electric folding mirrors, LED headlights and adaptive lighting.
The luxurious Superb Laurin & Klement has a sunroof, panoramic roof, ventilated and heated seats, front massage seats and even window airbags.
