Toyota Prius+ Estate. 1st generation, 2014 restyling
Toyota Prius+ is a longer version of the Toyota Prius hybrid front-wheel drive passenger car. It has been produced by Toyota (Japan) since 2011. This is an M-class 5-door estate. It can be either 5 or 7-seater. In 2020, Israeli buyers could purchase the restyled first generation Toyota Prius+ of 2014.
Distinctive features
The Prius+ Estate is 4,645 mm long and 1,775 mm wide. The 5-seater Prius has two rows of seats and a trunk volume of 535 liters or 1,070 liters with the rear seats folded down. Plus, there is a decent capacity under the floor, the volume of which is determined by whether the vehicle is equipped with a spare wheel or a tire repair kit. The 7-seater Prius has the third row seats consisting of two separate folding seats. In the second row, three separate seats can move, their backs can tilt back and forth and fold. The backrests of the front seats can be folded down completely, creating a large seating area. For better visibility, each successive row of seats is approximately 5 centimeters higher than the previous one. The volume of transported luggage is 200 liters, and with the third row seats folded, it increases to 505 liters and reaches a maximum value of 1,035 liters with the second row seats folded.
Modifications
In Israel, the 2019/2020 Toyota Prius+ comes with a 99hp 2ZR-FXE hybrid engine that can reach speeds of up to 165 km/h and consumes, on average, 4.6 liters per 100 km. It is equipped with an automatic transmission.
Trim levels
Only one trim level (Standart) of the 2020 Toyota Prius+ is available on the Israeli market. However, this trim has everything you need! The Toyota Prius+ Standart offers a full package of airbags, except for the knee airbags, tire pressure sensor, immobilizer, central locking, adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system, lane departure warning system and blind spot monitoring system, traffic sign recognition system and collision avoidance system, brake assist, and the hill start assist.
This list is complemented by an electrically adjustable steering wheel with an active power steering feature, 2-zone climate control, multifunction steering wheel, keyless access, and the push button start. The driver and passengers of the new Toyota Prius+ Estate will surely feel comfortable!
