Porsche 911 – overview
The Porsche 911 is a sports car designed for public roads, produced since 1963. It was offered in coupe, convertible or targa bodies. The 911 index stands for the body number of a very specific car of the 1960s, which was extremely successful with the public. The “911” has now become a proper name, which is assigned to a 2-door 4-seater coupe equipped with a boxer 6-cylinder engine located behind the rear axle. The model was distinguished by the rear-engine layout. Plus, the car had a legendary appearance, truly unique, making it stand out from the crowd.
