Bentley Continental GT is a 2-door 4-seat car from the Gran Turismo series of the luxury class, produced by British company Bentley Motors since 2003 in coupe and cabriolet bodies. In 2020, the third generation of this premium car of the 2017 model year was available on the Israeli market.
The 2017/2018 2-door 4-seat sports coupe has dimensions: 4805 mm long, 1954 mm wide and 1405 mm high with a wheelbase of 2851 mm. The volume of the trunk is 358 liters. The body of the new Continental GT is made of high-strength steel and aluminum. The total curb weight has decreased by 80 kg to 2244 kg. The drag coefficient compared to its predecessor has decreased by 2 points to 0.29 Cx.

New Continental GT Coupe features clean lines, made possible by super-molding technology, and a wide and low stance that evokes a sense of speed and impeccable style. When unlocked, the vehicle greets you with a programmed external lighting sequence. The striking exterior is complemented by striking contoured lighting in the cabin that can be customized to your liking.
The streamlined seats are as comfortable as they are elegant. They are heated, cooled, ventilated and massaged, and hand-stitched to accentuate the sides and upper backs. Seat memory buttons are located on the door panels, allowing the seat to be positioned before entering the vehicle.

New Continental GT can be ordered with stunning double trim inlays. In this case, the natural texture of the wood is combined with the laconic and austere black piano lacquer Piano Black. Two colors will be separated by a 3mm wide stripe of polished chrome that surrounds the entire interior. Choose from eight monochrome finishes including Koa Acacia veneer. An elegant wide center console can be made in graceful style, inspired by the design of the Cotes de Geneve used in in-house Swiss watches. Bentley’s new swivel display is a delightful combination of high tech and craftsmanship. The display is shaped like a triangular prism and rotates at will, becoming a high-resolution touchscreen, a set of analog instruments with polished chrome bezels, or a smooth one-piece panel.

Motors and dynamics
The 2019/2020 Bentley Continental GT design features an innovative chassis and electric architecture, plus a 6.0-liter V12 engine and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for smooth, fast, and efficient gear shifting. All this makes it possible to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and develop a phenomenal top speed of 333 km/h.
You can select one of four driving modes by simply turning a switch. Comfort mode optimizes chassis and drivetrain for comfortable driving at cruising speed; Sport mode adjusts the engine for a more dynamic response, with a dedicated valve modifying the exhaust sound accordingly. Bentley mode is the optimal combination of Sport and Comfort modes, while Custom mode allows you to customize settings for future use. High-pressure direct injection is combined with a multipoint injection to allow the engine to seamlessly switch between modes.
Continental GT’s 2020 partial cylinder cut-off system allows half of the cylinders to remain at rest at the minimum throttle, which reduces the number of cylinders working to six, thereby reducing fuel consumption.
The dual-clutch transmission delivers incredibly fast gear changes and smooth acceleration to enhance the vehicle’s dynamic character. Active Roll Suppression, powered by 48 V vehicle electrical system, senses road conditions and immediately adapts the vehicle to them, optimizing handling and ensuring a smooth ride. The electric power steering wheel increases the level of control feedback, allowing you to accurately select the style of driving that suits the road conditions.

As soon as the command to open the throttle valve is received, the engine again begins to supply fuel to all 12 cylinders.
There is also a more economical version of the 2020 Bentley Continental GT coupe. It has a 4-liter V8 turbo engine with 550 hp, with average fuel consumption of 11.8 liters per 100 km, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and top speed is 318 km/h.
