This is Infiniti’s first full-size crossover with three rows of seats. It can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Restyling for the benefit

The Infiniti QX60 was restyled in August 2016. Restyling was aimed at improving both the design and the technical parameters of the crossover. The car now looks more solid and aggressive due to the new look of the front end. A new grille shape, larger, narrower bi-xenon headlights, new fog lights with chrome trim, and impressive bumper are on the list of changes. The crossover also looks better at the rear due to the new tailgate, and the new wheel rims now perfectly match the high status of the model. Inside, the CVT selector has improved, the location of the memory keys of the seats has changed slightly, there are more USB ports, the noise insulation has been improved. The suspension settings have been changed and the power steering has been upgraded to improve handling. The hybrid went out of a sale after the restyling.

Modifications

Infiniti QX60 with a 3.5-liter gasoline engine and 295 hp. is supplied to Israel. at 6400 rpm. The engine is equipped with a direct fuel injection system, which ensures its power and economy. Fuel consumption is 12.8 l / 100 km. It has only four-wheel drive. It connects automatically, when the leading front axle slips, up to 50% of the thrust is transferred to the rear axle. The CVT with seven pseudo-gears is tuned to increase performance and contains algorithms for normal driving, for driving on snow, an economy mode, and two sports, as well as an individual mode in which the driver can choose the settings himself.

Trim versions

There are two trim versions currently on sale in Israel, and both are very attractive. The most interesting thing is the security systems. For example, there is an emergency braking system in case of detecting pedestrians in the blind spots in the base Elegance trim version. According to information from an authorized dealer, ‘The sensors monitor the cars ahead of you in the lane. If you need to slow down, the system releases the accelerator pedal and applies pressure to the brakes to help you avoid a collision.’ In the more expensive High Tech trim version, there are systems that allow you to avoid collisions using Back-Up Collision Intervention (BCI), Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW), and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) systems.

There are other pleasant things such as keyless access, a memory of the position of the driver’s seat, steering wheel and mirrors for two persons (in the High Tech configuration), the Infiniti InTouch multimedia system with an 8-inch touch screen, two seven-inch screens installed in the headrests of the front seats for the entertainment of passengers of the second row on the road, Bose Premium audio system with 14 speakers (in High Tech), cruise control.
