The 2017/2018 Jeep Wrangler 3-Door SUV is 4,334 mm long, 1,894 mm wide, and its wheelbase is 2,459 mm. It is shorter than its 5-door sibling, with a smaller wheelbase, but is not inferior in width.

Modifications

The Israeli market offers the 2019/2020 3-Door Jeep Wrangler equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The engine produces 272 hp, which allows the jeep to accelerate to ‘hundred’ from 6.8 to 7.2 seconds, depending on the version. The average fuel consumption also varies from 9.7 liters to 8.6 liters per 100 km. But all trim versions are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Trim versions

3 trim versions of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler are available in Israel: RUBICON, SAHARA and SPORT, which provide different dynamics and interior equipment of the SUV.

All models of the new Wrangler are equipped with Dana solid axles and dependent suspensions. Sport and Sahara models feature a Command-Trac transfer case with 2.72:1 crawler gear, full-time all-wheel drive and front axle disengagement.

The Rubicon model features a Rock-Trac transfer case with a downshift ratio of 4.0:1, electronic front roll stabilizer disconnection, and Tru-Loc front and rear axle locking. The steering response of the SUV has been improved thanks to an upgraded suspension and electro-hydraulic power steering instead of hydraulic one. And the Wrangler’s adjustable ground clearance varies from 246 to 274 mm, which makes it possible to deal with almost any off-road conditions. The top version of the Rubicon, in addition to the best capacities to travel in off-road conditions, has Rock Rails power side-skirts, and also offers a reinforced generator and batteries with increased starting current, a 12-220V inverter, and USB ports for the second seat row.

The standard Sport version includes a 3.5-inch on-board computer digital display on the dashboard, a full-size spare wheel, keyless access, 2-zone climate control, heated side mirrors, a media center with a 5-inch screen, and an audio system with 8 speakers.

The Sahara version also includes adaptive cruise control, leather interior, heated front seats, rear and front parking sensors, 7-inch on-board computer and media center displays, Alpine audio system with 9 speakers, decorative moldings and R18 wheels.

For the first time in history, the Wrangler is equipped with a rear-view camera with dynamic markings and a blind spot monitoring system (Rubicon and Sahara).
