2023 Land Rover Defender. New versions for Israel
The Israeli market offers the second generation Land Rover Defender 2019. In 2023, we will have two new versions of the legendary British SUV: the Land Rover Defender 110 P400e powerful plug-in hybrid with a 404 hp engine, offering an electric driving range of 46 km for fans of fuel-efficiency and ecology and the three-row, 8 seater Defender 130 long for a large and friendly family. The start of sales was announced by Ha-Mizrach, the official importer of Land Rover models to Israel.

Land Rover Defender 130 D250 SE: 622,100 shekels
Previously, the SUV could accommodate 5 adults and 2 children (the third row was mainly intended for children). In the summer of 2022, the manufacturer introduced a new Land Rover Defender 130 modification with 3 rows and 8 seats. The novelty is based on a conventional 5-door SUV with the same 3,022 mm wheelbase, but the rear overhang of the 130 model has been increased by 340 mm, as a result, the body length has increased to 5,358 mm. This made it possible to create a full-fledged third row for three passengers and accommodate 8 passengers in the passenger compartment. The trunk of the new version holds a minimum of 389 liters or 1,232 liters with the third row folded down, and up to a maximum of 2,291 liters of cargo. An air suspension, as before, allows you to change the ground clearance from 21.8 to 29 cm.
The new long Defender 2023 has received rich equipment: adaptive cruise control, numerous cameras, front and rear parking sensors, active lane departure control, blind spot monitoring system, 19-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, smart key, 10-inch multimedia, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 3-zone split climate control and much more.
In Israel, the new Land Rover Defender 130 is still available in only one modification with a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 250 hp. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive system with reduction gear, electronic traction control for off-road driving and much more. This SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds, while the maximum speed is 188 km/h and the fuel consumption is 11.1 km per liter in the mixed cycle.
Land Rover Defender 110 P400e SE: 640,400 shekels
The 110 PHEV has a plug-in hybrid system that combines a 2.0-litre turbo engine and an electric motor, which together deliver a total output of 404 hp. It takes the SUV 5.6 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h, while the maximum speed is 191 km/h. The 2023 Land Rover Defender 110 plug-in hybrid comes with only 5 seats. The battery with a capacity of 19.2 kWh allows you to drive up to 46 km on pure electric traction. With a fast DC charger, you can recharge up to 80% in 30 minutes. Home charging will take approximately 2 hours.
