Maserati Ghibli is an Е-class sports car of the Italian Maserati brand, a property of the Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles group. The car is available since 1967 in coupe and sedan bodywork options. It may be RWD or 4WD. As of 2021, the third generation of the restyled sedan has been available in the Israeli market.
4-door 5-seater of the 2020 model year is a sedan that is 4971 mm long, 1945 mm wide, 1461 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2998 mm. The trunk size is 500 L. So, the exterior is unchanged after the restyling of 2016.
Features
In 2020, the third generation of the 2013 Maserati Ghibli, underwent a second restyling (the first one was done in 2016). The updated models feature a grille with different vertical slats, additional chrome or black glossy decor, depending on the version, and LED taillights. The interior is updated as well. The 2020 Ghibli has a central 10.1-inch display inside instead of 8.4, with higher resolution, improved image quality, and a redesigned interface with Android operating system. The updated car has received a second-level autopilot, allowing the car to move across every road with good marking at speeds up to 145 km/h. It is also possible to manage the functions of the car using a mobile application.
However, the main news is the apperance of Ghibli Hybrid and Ghibli Trofeo, equipped with V-shaped 8-cylinder turbocharged engine of 3.8 L and 580 hp, with a top speed of 326 km/h, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h to 4.5 seconds.
Maserati Ghibli Hybrid
Maserati Ghibli Hybrid has a gasoline 2-L turbocharged engine. Ghibli received only V6 engines before. This one is V4 in line. The electric equipment is represented by 48V dynastart coming with a compact lithium-ion battery, installed in the trunk to improve the weight distribution. The top powertrain output is 330 hp or 450 Nm. The car is equipped with Ghibli’s standard 8-speed automatic transmission and RWD only. The hybrid can accelerate up to 255 km/h and speed up from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
Maserati Ghibli Trofeo
The powerful sports car is equipped with a V-shaped 8-cylinder turbocharged engine of 3.8 L, 580 hp, and 538 Nm torque. It has a 8-speed automatic transmission and RWD. The average fuel consumption is 12,3 liters per 100 km. However, the speed is really amazing! The sedan can accelerate up to 326 km/h. The time to speed up from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.5 seconds.
