BMW 7 Series is an F class executive class car from the German BMW concern. It has been produced since 1977. Today, in the Israeli market, you can buy the sixth generation of the BMW 7 Series after the restyling of 2019 in the ‘Sedan’ body or its extended version ‘Sedan Long’.
The 4-door 5-seater BMW 7 Series Sedan Long is a big, comfortable car. Length of Sedan Long is 5260 mm, which is 14 cm longer than usual sedans, their width is the same - 1902 mm, and the wheelbase of the elongated version is also larger - 3210 mm. The ‘Long’ has a more spacious interior, especially for back row passengers. The truck volume is 420 liters. The clearance is 135 mm.
Modifications
The new BMW 7 Series Sedan Long 2019/2020 comes to Israel in an all-wheel drive version with gasoline and hybrid engine to choose from. A 4.4-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 530 hp. allows you to accelerate to a maximum of 250 km/h, acceleration from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Acceleration time is on par with a usual sedan - just 0.1 seconds difference. Hybrid engine, running on both gasoline and electricity, 286-horsepower, also turbocharged almost as good as gasoline. The maximum speed is also 250 km/h, but the acceleration time from 0 km/h to 100 km/h is slightly longer - 5.3 seconds.
Trim versions
The M-Sport and Pure Excellence trim levels are available for Israeli buyers of the BMW 7 Series Sedan Long 2019/2020. There are 6 airbags, an all-round camera, adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system, navigation system, rear passenger entertainment system, multimedia with voice control, sunroof, panoramic roof, sun blinds, ventilation, heating and massage in the front seats, automatic parking system with front and rear parking sensors, multi-zone climate control, door closers, hands-free opening of the trunk, full power accessories and almost all possible electronic assistants controlling the lane, blind spots, driver fatigue, recognizing road signs, preventing collisions. That’s an incomplete list of what is available in both trim levels of the new BMW 7 Series Sedan Long 2019/2020.
