BMW X5 crossover. 4-th generation 2018
BMW X5 is a mid-size 4WD crossover from the German BMW, produced since 1999. ‘X’ means ‘4WD’ and ‘5’ implies that the model is based on BMW 5 Series. On the today’s Israeli market, the fourth generation of SUV BMW X5 from the model year of 2018 is available.
5-door 5-seat 4WD BMW X5 2019/2020 is 4922 mm long, 2004 mm wide, the wheelbase is 2975 mm. The trunk volume is 500 L.
Modifications
In Israel, the new X5 is offered with four available turbocharged engines: petrol, two diesel, and hybrid ones. Whatever you prefer! If you want a fuel-saving option, select a 286-hp 3-L hybrid engine. Its speed is 235 km/h with a moderate fuel consumption. If you want more drive, select xDrive40i with the gasoline engine of 340-hp and 3 L. It accelerates to 243 km/h. If you want to save on the fuel, select a diesel engine: 3-L with 265 hp or superchrged M50d with 400 hp and 3L that accelerates the crossover to 250 km/h. All the engines are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Trim versions
The following trim versions are available for Israeli customers of BMW X5 2019/2020 - for modification with M50d diesel engine - Superior, for diesel xDrive30d 265 hp - Elite or Superior, for gasoline xDrive40i 340 hp - also Elite or Superior, for hybrid - Superior or sports version called M-Sport.
All the trim versions have 6 airbags, 360-degree surround camera (besides Elite), adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system, various electronic assistants, including an anti-collision system, driver fatigue sensor, lane keeping aid, blind zone control, hill descent control, and braking assistance system.
Every Х5 trim version has a panoramic roof and an estetic interior lighting. Hi-Fi audiosystem, navigation, voice multimedia control, and rear seat entertainment unit are available for every version as well as leather interior, front seat heating, front and rear parking distance sensors, parking assist system, 3-zone and multi-zone climate control, multifunction steering wheel, door closers, and hands-free trunk access.
