Mazda 2 is a B-class subcompact car from the Japanese automaker, Mazda. It has been produced from 2003 to the present as a sedan and a 5-door hatchback. Currently, the 3rd generation Mazda 2 is being produced. In 2020, its restyled version of 2019 was sold on the Israeli market.
The 2019/2020 Mazda 2 is built on a front-wheel drive platform with a transverse engine placement and an integrated body made of high-strength steel. In the front, the car is equipped with an independent MacPherson suspension, and in the back, it has a semi-independent arrangement with a torsion beam.
The 2019 Mazda 2 front-wheel drive sedan is compact in size, and does not exceed 4,320 mm in length, but at the same time its trunk has a rather big volume of 414 liters.

Modifications
In Israel, the Mazda 2 Sedan comes with a 1.5-liter SKYACTIVE-G petrol engine, providing a speed of 188 km/h, and is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel consumption is 7.3 liters per 100 km in the urban cycle, and only 4.9 liters on the highway. The car complies with the European environmental standard Euro 6.
Trim versions
4 trim versions of the Mazda 2 are available: Comfort, Dynamic, Pure Black and Sport/Pure White. All the trims include 6 airbags, a tire pressure sensor, a rear camera, cruise control and a choice of driving modes. The driver assistance systems are represented by the lane departure warning system, collision avoidance system, ABS, ASR, brake assistance (BAS, EBD, EBA), electronic stability program (ESP) and vehicle stability management (VSM).
Even the basic trim provides comfortable seats and elegant finishing materials, LED optics in front and in the back, a multimedia system with a 7-inch display, USB, Bluetooth and acoustics for 6 speakers. The basic options comprise a keyless access, power windows, electrically folding mirrors. The advanced trim versions are equipped with parking sensors, blind spot monitoring and tinted glass.
