Skoda Octavia RS is a sports version of the Octavia, a mid-size C-class vehicle produced by the Czech automobile maker, Škoda Auto, as a 5-door liftback or estate. In 2020, the restyled third generation Octavia RS Liftback of 2017 could be purchased in Israel.

Distinctive features
This new model is truly unique. The 2017/2018 Skoda Octavia RS has a rather interesting front face design. There are four striking angular headlights with lens elements and an elegant thin line of the LED daytime running lights. The radiator grille visually adjoins the lighting equipment and has a logo indicating a ‘charged’ technical filling. It comprises many short, vertically oriented edges with a 3D effect. Under it, on the front bumper, is a trapezoidal air intake, covered with a plastic mesh. Its sides are complemented by angular niches with black inserts and narrow fog lamp blocks. The upgraded Skoda Octavia RS liftback is aggressive, but at the same time charming and recognizable.
Modifications
Israeli buyers can purchase the most ‘charged’ version of the Octavia RS, equipped with a 245 hp turbocharged petrol engine, which provides a top speed of 250 km/h and accelerates to 100 km in 6.6 seconds. The average fuel consumption is 6.1 liters per 100 km. It is complemented by a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission.
Trim versions
In Israel, the Standard trim version of the 2020 Skoda Octavia RS is available. The list of options offered by this trim is impressive! First of all, it offers a sunroof and a panoramic roof! Decorative moldings, LED headlights and R 19 wheels complete its sporty look.
This trim comprises almost a complete set of airbags, except for window ones, adaptive cruise control, rear camera, voice control of the multimedia system, electrically adjustable sports seats, driver memory seat, tinted windows, electrically folding side mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, 2-zone climate-control, and Alcantara finishing… Let’s admit that the driver of the Octavia RS 2020 liftback will have fun!
The electronic safety systems of the 2019/2020 Skoda Octavia RS are represented by ABS and ASR, electronic stability control, brake assist, collision avoidance system, traffic sign recognition and lane control systems, blind spot monitoring and even a driver fatigue sensor.
