The most affordable Lamborghini
The most affordable Lamborghini is a tractor. Yes, yes, yes! What do you know about Lamborghini tractors? What about Porsche tractors? What about Mercedes-Benz tractors? It turns out that many companies known for their cars manufacture or have manufactured excellent agricultural equipment in the past! Ferruccio Lamborghini started with tractors. For the first decade and a half, from 1948 to 1963, the guys from Sant’Agata Bolognese were engaged in the construction of agricultural machinery. Lamborghini Trattori exists to this day, being one of the leading European tractor manufacturers. The company’s model range includes 18 lines of tractors (more than 80 models in total).
Porsche's tractor division, Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau, existed from 1950 to 1963 in connection with the rapid development of German agriculture in those years. Over the years, more than 40 tractor models had been presented.
One of the exclusive tractors, the 1966 Lamborghini 1R, has undergone a complete restoration and is put up for sale by the British dealer Sasso Automotive. You can currently purchase this cute tractor. If you have dreamed of Lamborghini all your life, then your dream can now easily come true, although the British announce its cost only to potential customers, exclusively upon request. However, it is known that similar restored tractors were valued at between 17,000 and 21,000 euros.
Back in the 1920s, Benz and Daimler were building their own tractors. In 1951, Mercedes-Benz took over the small Austrian company Unimog, which made universal agricultural trucks. In 1973, it began producing its tractors under the MB trac brand, using the Unimogs as a base. In 1991, Mercedes sold its production facilities to Werner (now this brand is known as WF trac).
The vehicle returned from Italy, where it was undergoing a full cycle of restoration. In addition to design elements, local experts have restored the mechanisms that needed it. In general, the tractor looks like a new vehicle. The Lamborghini 1R, painted in two contrasting shades, is powered by a modest 1.5-liter air-cooled diesel engine with 32 hp, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.
