Volkswagen Tuareg - mid-size crossover J class from the German automaker Volkswagen, produced since 2002. In 2020, the third generation of the 2018 Touareg all-wheel-drive crossover was available on the Israeli market.
The 5-door 5-seat all-wheel-drive Volkswagen Tuareg crossover is 4878 mm long and 1984 mm wide. The wheelbase is 2894 mm. The ground clearance on the pneumatics is 300 mm.
Exterior and interior
German designers have completely redesigned the exterior of the crossover, as a result of which the front and rear look completely different than before. The radiator grille has undergone changes - it has become very wide, divided into three parts and covered with chrome, and in the expanded configuration-black. The off-road characteristics of the crossover have changed very much - the third Tuareg has lost the differential lock.
The interior space of the third Tuareg is also completely modernized. Now the center console is turned towards the driver’s seat. In an improved configuration, the new Tuareg bypasses other premium crossovers. Of the interesting options available on this car, you can mention the night vision system.
Modifications
In Israel, the new Tuareg comes with a 3-liter diesel turbo engine with a capacity of 286 hp. With it, the crossover can accelerate to a maximum of 238 km / h. Fuel consumption, on average, is 6.6 liters. It is complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission. The suspension is pneumatic.
Configuration options
The complete set of Volkswagen Touareg 2019/2020 for the Israeli market is one - Standart - but in it you will get a panoramic roof, tinted windows, diode headlights and alloy wheels R18. In this configuration, the new Touareg is equipped with a full package of airbags, including window airbags, adaptive cruise control, driving mode selection system, ABS, ASR, ESP stabilization system and steering stabilization system.
