Coupe Ferrari 812. 1st generation 2017
Ferrari 812 is a sports car produced by Italian manufacture Ferrari, part of the Italian-American concern Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. It has been produced since 2017 in a coupe body, since 2019 in a roadster body. In 2020, the first generation of this uniquely powerful supercar was available on the Israeli market.
2-door 2-seat coupe 812 Superfast 2017/2018 has further dimensions: 4657 mm in length, 1971 mm in width, 1276 mm in height, and wheelbase of 2720 mm. The unique supercar received the name ‘Superfast’ and that is so! Ferrari named the new coupe the most commercial machine in its history.
Distinctive features
At the front, superfast 2017/2018 Ferrari features sharper-edged all-LED headlights, an oversized radiator grille, and additional vents in the bumpers and bonnet. Behind, there are 4 circular taillights, an eye-catching rear spoiler, and massive diffusers. The sports coupe stands out with its original design wheels, an increased number of air intakes on the body, and active aerodynamic elements at the front.
Salon of new Ferrari 812 received a new steering wheel and instrument panel, a redesigned front panel, as well as enlarged display for the front passenger, from which it can observe various indicators of the car while driving and control the functions of a multimedia system.
Motors and dynamics
The new rear-wheel drive coupe Ferrari 812 Superfast was equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine with a displacement of 6.5 liters and an output of 800 hp at 8,500 rpm, and maximum torque is 718 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Traction is transmitted to the wheels of the rear axle by 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and with modified gear ratios. It takes 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, and the top speed reaches 340 km/h.
Equipment
Ferrari 812 2018/2019 shares a fully-controlled Virtual Short Wheelbase version 2.0 chassis, which makes it possible to turn the rear wheels at a small angle in the opposite direction from the front wheels in fast turns. There is also Side Slip Control version 5.0 and electric power steering.
In terms of comfort, the new coupe has everything and even more: multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, front sports seats, climate control system, modern multimedia system, navigation and Hi-Fi audio, heated front seats and side mirrors, active power amplifier steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors.
