The multimillion-dollar Chinese automobile giant Geely has finally made it to Israel. Union Motors has announced that it will import the Geely Geometry C, an electric vehicle from the Geely sub-brand.

Geometry is a new independent sub-brand of Geely Auto Group, which designs and manufactures exclusively electric cars and plans to conquer the world. It was named after the section of mathematics. Geely plans to introduce eight more Geometry models to the existing Geometry A and Geometry C by 2025.

Interesting fact

Geely is one of the three largest automakers in China and owns, among others, the Swedish Volvo Group. Intensive expansion into Europe began a couple of years ago, and now we will see the cars from this manufacturer in Israel. In the near future, four Geely agencies will open in Haifa, Tel Aviv, Modiin and Beersheba, as well as five service centers. And this is just the beginning.

The Geometry C is a mid-size electric SUV introduced in 2020. Some people consider it a hatchback, but the Chinese themselves call it an SUV. In order not to offend anyone, let’s call it a crossover hatchback. The new Geometry C is a rather powerful electric vehicle with good dynamic characteristics. Geely has high hopes for its promotion to foreign markets.

It is already known that the approximate price of the Geometry C 350 Pro will start from 134,430 shekels, whereas the 460 Pro will cost from 143,430 shekels, including the license fee.

The Geometry sub-brand aims to compete with leading electric vehicles. Thus, the first car of the brand, Geometry A, competes with the Tesla Model 3, while the second model, Geometry C, challenges the Nissan Leaf (it even looks like it, but is positioned in a different way). The Geometry C is a good everyday urban personal transport, roughly similar to a lot of similar ones, but its main competitive advantage is cost.

The new Geometry C comes to Israel with two batteries with a capacity of 53 kWh and 70 kWh, which provide 350 and 460 km of travel without recharging, respectively. The engine produces 204 hp. At the same time, the maximum speed is low, only 150 km/h. The monitors are small, but the devices are convenient for everyday use, the amount of information displayed on them is quite exhaustive.
