Ferrari. Bodywork, Exterior.

The great Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari’s founding father, can be proud. Ferrari is currently one of the most recognizable and popular brands, and if you believe the information provided by Brand Finance, it is even number one in the world. The company is known for being equally good at participating in races and wining them, producing racing cars and cars for public roads. Ferrari can boast of a record number of victories in the most prestigious race in the world, Formula 1 (15 titles), but also won many times in the Constructors' Championship (16 wins).

Enzo Ferrari
Enzo Ferrari. Italian designer, entrepreneur and race driver. Founder of Ferrari and the car racing team of the same name.

Ferrari is a symbol of speed and success, the standard and the ultimate dream. Over the decades, the company has produced many cars that have become iconic. Ferrari cars are loved by celebrities, Hollywood actors, and famous politicians. Jay Kay (Jamiroquai band) owned a Ferrari F40, 360 Spider, a Ferrari Enzo and a Ferrari 456GT. Rod Stewart, a rock music veteran, has driven a Ferrari F40, 360 Spider, and now drives the new Murcielago. Joanna Lumley, film and television star, has a classic Ferrari 328 GTS Targa. Prince Charles owned a sky blue 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Maybe that is why Forbes has compiled the list of the most beautiful Ferraris? Because they are also the most expensive…

Meet the 10 most magnificent cars ever to be produced by Ferrari. Read and enjoy!

10th place 2006 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

A sporty, rear-wheel drive, two-seater limited-edition car with a petrol 12-cylinder engine was unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. The 620 hp engine is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. This is an exceptionally powerful and beautiful car. Ferrari itself has recognized it as ‘the most beautiful car in the entire history of the plant’. In 2010, it served as the basis for the creation of the Ferrari 599 Gran Turismo Omologata (GTO), an equally beautiful supercar.

9th place 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia

The two-seater two-door sports coupe was first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2009. Manufacturers proudly added the name of their country to the number 458, which stands for engine displacement and number of cylinders. And rightly so, as not only the car itself, but also its engine won over 30 international awards, and by 2010 more than 1,200 cars were sold. Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson named this Ferrari the most anticipated car of 2010.

8th place 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO

The mid-engine supercar, the successor of the GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato) range, was produced from 1984 to 1987 in the amount of only 272 cars. The shape of the car is borrowed from the 308 GTB, the body is made of Kevlar, and the engine is an 8-cylinder unit with a pair of 400 hp turbines. Acceleration to the first 100 km/h occurs in 4.9 seconds, while the maximum speed is over 300 km/h. Despite its roots, the powerful GTO has a discreet and humble design, unlike most Ferraris of the mid-1980s. The approximate collector value exceeds 2 million euros.

7th place 2012 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

This is a Gran Turismo car with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The sports coupe was produced from 2012 to 2017. The structure is based on an aluminum space frame. The car features a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 gasoline engine with 740 hp, capable of spinning up to 8,700 rpm. At the time of its debut, it was the fastest road Ferrari in history, with the declared acceleration time to 100 km/h being 3.1 seconds and the maximum speed being ‘above 340 km/h’. The shape of the car creates the illusion of movement even when the car is just parked.

6th place 1957 Ferrari 250 TR

The Ferrari TR or 250 Testa Rossa was produced from 1956 to 1961. In total, less than 40 cars were manufactured. The number ‘250’ indicated the volume of one of the twelve cylinders of the V-shaped engine in cubic centimeters, and the abbreviation ‘TR’ for Testa Rossa (Red Head) alluded to the color of the engine’s cylinder heads. The model was personally designed by Scaglietti, probably the best designer of the time. The result is a race car suitable for everyday driving. Ralph Lauren, American fashion designer, founder of Ralph Lauren and one of the richest men in the United States, owns a 250 TR and calls it one of the jewels of his legendary car collection. It is also one of the most expensive Ferraris, with a record auction price of $16.4 million.

5th place 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta

The Ferrari 275 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) two-seater sports coupe, first presented at the 1964 Paris Motor Show, was produced until 1968 in several modifications. The Ferrari 275 GTB/4 was an incredibly fast version for that time, with a top speed of 265 km/h. It was equipped with a 12-cylinder 300-horsepower engine with 4 camshafts. The new body design was intended to improve aerodynamics. The design was developed by the Italian design studio Pininfarina. The convertible version of this car was driven by Faye Dunaway’s character in The Thomas Crown Affair, who called it “one of those Italian red little things”.

4th place 1971 Dino 246 GTS

This not quite typical Ferrari is named after the late son of Enzo Ferrari and was developed for serial production in conjunction with FIAT. The Ferrari Dino is a unique car for the Italian manufacturer. Firstly, it was the first road Ferrari with a V6 instead of a traditional V12. Secondly, it was an affordable Ferrari. Thirdly, it was the first production mid-engine Ferrari! And, nevertheless, it became a real legend, a coveted item in any collection, perhaps due to the unusually attractive appearance. Dino’s graceful, balanced and sexy style has influenced all subsequent Ferrari models.

3rd place 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona

The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 designed by Pininfarina, better known as the Ferrari Daytona and produced from 1968 to 1973, is probably one of the most coveted and famous Italian Gran Turismo. The slightly edgy yet elegant design of the Daytona looks great in the coupe version. This car is Ferrari’s first attempt at ultramodern styling. But in 1980, the GTS model boomed in the world. These cars were popular but rare. It even got to the point that the Americans were transforming their Daytona cars into Spyders.

2nd place 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso

The Ferrari 250 is a series of sports cars produced from 1953 to 1964. Pininfarina’s designers provided the 250 with the elegant lines and fastback body of the GT cars. The car was equipped with a 250 GTO Tipo 168 engine with 250 hp with three Weber 36DCS carburetors. The Lusso is a true standard of luxury and is the first coupe to have a body designed from scratch. The elongated hood and small chrome elements make the car look sophisticated. One of these models was owned by Eric Clapton, British rock musician. And Steve McQueen, an American film actor and famous race car driver who played in the movie Le Mans, was able to auction the Lusso for $2.3 million.

Celebrities are not the only ones who choose this model! Ferruccio Lamborghini himself bought three Ferrari 250 cars: a 250 GT coupe with a Pininfarina body, a 250 SWB Berlinetta with a Scaglietti body and a 4-seater 250 from Pininfarina. It was after this that he complained to Enzo Ferrari about frequent clutch problems and later decided to develop his own GT sports car with the help of former Ferrari engineers.

Interesting fact

1st place 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO

The first place of honor belongs to another representative of the 250 series, namely to the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. A real Holy Grail for Ferrari fans! A total of 39 cars were produced, which makes the car one of the rarest representatives of the brand. It has an impeccable racing pedigree and has won the FIA GT3 World Championship three times in a row. The GTO’s stunning body attracts everyone. The impeccable design was developed by Pininfarina under the direction of Scaglietti himself. The cost of the car is approximately $31 million. And you won’t find it anywhere. The list of notable 250 GTO owners includes Ralph Lauren and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd).

We will not ask you which Ferrari is the most beautiful. Instead we will ask you, which of them do you like best?
