Coupe Ferrari F8. 1st generation 2019
Ferrari F8 is a sports car of Italian manufacture Ferrari, part of the Italian-American concern Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. It has been produced since 2019 in coupe and roadster bodies. In 2020, the first generation of this powerful hypercar was available on the Israeli market.
2019/2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo 2-door 2-seat coupe has further dimensions: 4611 mm in length, 1979 mm in width, 1206 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. The trunk volume is 200 liters. New sports car received 10% improved aerodynamic efficiency, reduced weight due to the use of carbon fiber and other ultra-light materials, and increased performance.
Distinctive features
The car received a completely unique interior, a full list of advanced electronic assistants, and design that has absorbed all the family traits of the Italian brand. A key feature of the 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo coupe is a new design and a 10% increase in aerodynamic efficiency. The front air intake is larger than before, and the new LED headlights are more compact, which made it possible to place additional air ducts above them for cooling the brakes, which also became larger. The transparent engine compartment lid now has ‘gills’ for more efficient heat dissipation. Behind there are four circular tail lights instead of two, plus a modified spoiler shape.
All interior elements are new. And the main innovation is the 7-inch touch screen of the media system in front of the passenger. New Ferrari F8 features round, aviation-style air vents, a center dash with a new instrument cluster and HMI, seat tunnel switches, a truncated multifunction steering wheel, and stunning sports seats with advanced lateral support.
Motors and dynamics
2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo coupe is equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 720 hp and 770 Nm of torque and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. There is a rear-wheel drive via an electronically controlled differential. New F8 Tributo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. Acceleration to 200 km/h takes 7.8 seconds. The top speed is over 340 km/h.
Vehicle system
The new coupe is equipped with SSC (Side Slip Control) in version 6.1, as well as FDE (Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer) system with Plus attachment, which individually adjusts the brake pressure based on instantaneous driving parameters, and allows you to more accurately dose the slowdown before the attack of turns. During high-speed cornering, the unique Side Slip Control system allows for more efficient control of the car during a controlled skid. In addition, F8 Tributo received a huge mass of assistance systems, not only during braking but also during acceleration.
