The Ferrari Monza SP is a small-scale S-class sports car in the Speedster body of the Italian brand Ferrari, which is the part of the Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles concern. It has been produced since 2019 in 1-seater and 2-seater versions. The 1-seater Monza SP1 has only a driver’s seat, the 2-seater Monza SP2 is equipped with an additional passenger seat. You could buy the first generation of this unique sports car in Israel in 2020.

2019/2020 car dimensions: length is 4657 mm, width is 1996, height is 1155 mm. The wheelbase is 2720 mm. The striking styling and aura of Ferrari are perfectly matched with unsurpassed dynamics, impressive power, and the most advanced technology.

Exterior

The 2020 Ferrari Monza SP embodies the perfect blend of the grace of the past with a modern take on luxury supercars. The car received a completely original carbon fiber body in the style of racing cars of the 50es. Small doors open sideways and upwards, and the roof and windshield of the car are completely absent. The body, made of carbon fiber, is based on a monolithic shape with an aerodynamic wing profile. The long hood and muscular wheel arches make the speedster’s appearance truly racing, unique and memorable.

The exterior of the car has clean lines with very few cuts and curves. The driver should feel like a monolith surrounding the cockpit. The hood is made as one piece along with the fenders.

Since there is no conventional windshield, the engineers installed a deflector above the dashboard, deflecting the air flow upward around the driver’s head. It is positioned below the driver’s line of sight for maximum driving comfort at high speeds for an unmatched, intoxicating driving experience. The passenger has a small glass in a two-seater configuration.

Interior

The interior design of the 2020 Ferrari Monza SP speedster is fully in line with its extreme character. You can enter the compact cabin using doors that open to the sides. The classic cockpit is characterized by excellent ergonomics and perfectly conveys the racing atmosphere. Monza SP2 is equipped with two seats, a miniature windshield is installed in front of the passenger, and another air fairing is located behind the headrest. Additional comfort is provided by the sports seats with perforated leather trim and an improved three-spoke steering wheel.

Motors and powers

There is an atmospheric 6.5-liter V12 gasoline engine under the hood of the car with a capacity of 810 hp. There is a 7-speed automated manual transmission with a double clutch and back-wheel drive. The sports car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and it takes 7.9 seconds to reach the 200 km/h mark. The maximum speed is declared as ‘over 300 km/h’ (for comparison, the 812 Superfast has 340 km / h).
