Distinctive features
A powerful, luxurious, safe and phenomenally dynamic supercar from Maserati has a body with lifting doors, made in an atypical style; the drag coefficient of the car is 0.38. The structure has widely used in carbon fiber. Due to body structure, stunning aerodynamics are achieved, which is emphasized by the fast silhouette of the supercar, as if merging with the road. The high-tech carbon fiber monocoque has high torsional and flexural rigidity, making the MC20 incredibly lightweight and dynamic.
The new supercar’s aesthetics are enhanced by upcoming butterfly-wing doors that provide exceptional comfort during entry and exit. There are six exclusive body paint options specifically for the Maserati MC20: Bianco Audace, Giallo Genio, Rosso Vincente, Blu Infinito, Nero Enigma, and Grigio Mistero, each reflecting key brand traditions.
The two-seater salon is trimmed in leather and wash-leather and is equipped with two 10-inch screens. The media system has voice control and a Wi-Fi initiator. All major elements are directed with the driver and integrated so that nothing distracts him from the driving process. The aristocracy is underlined by a design inspired by an elite wristwatch, sophisticated drive mode selector with elegant carbon trim, 10-inch cockpit displays, and MIA multimedia system.
Modifications
Israel is supplied with a powerful modification with a gasoline engine – V6 Nettuno, which delights with incredibly exciting sound and unprecedented acceleration dynamics. The 3-liter engine has combined fuel injection, a dry-sump lubrication system, and two spark plugs per cylinder. The engine can produce 630 hp at 7500 rpm and 730 Nm of torque from 3000-5500 rpm. The motor is fixed with 8-speed transmission with two clutches and a rear-wheel drive with a limited-slip differential. For an extra charge, you can put an electronic lock. With a curb weight of less than 1500 kg, the supercar can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, and top speed exceeds 325 km/h. There are several modes – Standard GT, Rain Wet, Sport, racing Corsa, and ESC Off with the stabilization system turned off completely.
Trim versions
The characteristic classic Maserati luxury and racing minimalism are seen in a perfect fusion of stunning materials such as leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber. The unique atmosphere in the cabin is created by premium speaker system Sonus Faber with crystal clear sound. The interior is functional and rational. Carbon fiber seats, super-thick steering wheel designed by Maserati test driver and former MC 12 racer Andrea Bertolini. The steering wheel contains only the essentials for any supercar.
The sports coupe has space behind the seats for two aircraft-sized bags, and the front trunk can hold 47 liters. There is also a trunk in the back – 101 liters. There are no rear-view mirrors. They were replaced by a digital mirror connected to a wide-angle camera. MC20 also ditches the usual Maserati clocks installed on the dashboard. Although a tribute to this tradition is paid – the rotary switch for the mode of movement in the central tunnel is made in the style of watch. It allows drivers to switch traction control options, throttle control options, gear shifting styles, and control turbocharging using four different drive modes.
The basic version of 2021 Maserati MC20 includes an electronic dashboard, a multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, front sports seats, door sills, Hi-Fi audio, a driving mode selection system, etc.
